Level 3 Night Operations Advanced Shooting & Tactics




The aim of this 3-day course is to provide tactical law enforcement officers with the Tactics, Techniques and Procedures of employing Night Fighting Equipment during close quarters battle and room combat in order to enhance the department’s capability, provide flexibility to command staff while mitigating risk to the operators tasked with conducting high risk entry operations. 

This course has been developed to increase tactical officers individual and team level skills using night fighting equipment at close quarters and integrating NFE into deliberate CQB clearance operations. Students attending this course should have a high level of understanding of Dynamic CQB before arriving. Students will be trained in a stair-stepped approach in advanced weapons handling techniques and procedures while wearing NFE and the TTP’s for conducting Deliberate CQB for high threat environments. Students will be taught procedures to increase officer safety, mitigate risk to public and maintain a tactical advantage to ensure mission success.

Students should be qualified in both duty pistol and carbine and received tactical training in bothweapons systems.


Requirements to attend this course:

  1. Military Personnel are required to produce valid military ID.
  2. Law Enforcement personnel are required to produce valid credentials.
  3. Government Security Contractors will be vetted by RB1 Staff prior to attending the course.GSC’s must provide proof of U.S citizenship.



  • Conduct weapons manipulation testing with current CQB weapons
  • Perform live fire weapons drills with current CQB weapons
  • Complete a validation range practice IAW RB1 CQBCT requirements


  • Display situational awareness as an assault team member
  • Employ Deliberate CQB room combat techniques
  • Participate in live fire indoor, multi room, combat range practice in a darkened environment whileemploying NVG’s and IR Lasers




The following equipment list is considered to be the minimum standard for students to arrive with. Students may augment this list with other personal equipment as required.
