Advanced Weapons Manipulation

Duration: 2 Days
Cost: $525.00

The objective of this course is to increase the existing individual skills of each student in combat marksmanship. Students will be introduced to new concepts and skills designed to increase speed, efficiency and accuracy while maintaining a focus on the combat application of each drill. This course will contain a short duration close quarters shooting assessment on the flat range where students will be tested in close range shooting techniques that focus on the required elements of surgical marksmanship necessary to conduct successful close quarters combat. The course will consist of formal lessons, including demonstrations on the techniques and procedures of advanced weapons handling and manipulation. Practical exercises will follow all conference lectures to solidify teaching points and develop proficiency in the techniques taught. Students will receive constant feedback on individual performances throughout the course to encourage learning and refine techniques.

Day one will conclude with the conduct of night operations and shooting techniques designed to gain proficiency operating the weapons systems in a low light environment. Students will be assessed and coached throughout the course in the following areas: safety, accuracy, carriage and control, advanced handling and operation of both weapons.

This course will cover up to 22 hours of material over a 2-day period. It is a physically demanding course that will require students to work up to 12 hours while wearing duty equipment.

All participants must have received basic pistol and basic carbine training from one of the following: RB1, military, law enforcement or a reputable training company.
