Basic Carbine - RSS Level 1

Description:

The 2-Day Basic Carbine course is a Level 1, Redback Shooting System (RSS) course. The course is used to train students in the RSS methodology in order to safely carry, control, handle and operate the carbine. The course is designed to provide the entry-level shooter with a good understanding of firearms safety and the core skills of protective carbine employment.

Students will gain vital knowledge on the AR platform and ammunition selection for protective applications as well as the weapons capabilities and limitations. Students will be challenged with techniques that will create a reliable and systematic foundation in shooting fundamentals preparing them for RSS Level 2 training.

Equipment Requirements:

1. Serviceable Carbine/ Rifle
2. Sling
3. (3) Carbine Magazines (minimum)
4. Magazine Carriers (belt or vest)
5. Eye Protection
6. Ear Protection (Electronic Ear Pro Preferred)
7. Weapon cleaning kit and lubrication supplies
8. Range Attire (Duty uniform, utility type pants, a t-shirt, boots or shoes)

Optional:

1. Combat Optic
2. Body Armor, Tactical Over?Vest or Battle Rig
3. Dump Pouch, IFAK

Training Course Tuition and Refund Policy

A deposit of half the tuition fee is required at the time of registration to secure a spot on the course. If you wish to pay the full tuition amount at this time, please email us to be invoiced directly.

The full training course tuition is required to be paid in full 60 days before the course start date.

All refunds are subject to a processing fee.

All fees paid are non-refundable at 60 days before the class start date.
